AS A FUNDRAISING CLUB
- Make a club presentation on the 1000 Survival Gardens Project and show members the opportunity to make a difference in the coronavirus pandemic. Simple idea. Massive need.
- Make a financial commitment for your club to sponsor 1, 3, 5, 10 or more Survival Garden Kits. It’s easy and impactful.
- Make it a larger club fundraising project. Leverage the media spotlight for events that focus on COVID-19 issues, gender equality, etc. It’s fun and empowering.
Share the project with Interact and Rotaract, schools, churches, social organizations, businesses and individuals. Share and make it inclusive.
Apply for a District Grant, if applicable.
AS A DISTRIBUTING CLUB
- Confirm your club’s interest in being a Kit Distributor and submit a Distribution Request Form from the Team Leader.
- Document your club’s current project and how the Survival Garden Kits fit into the existing project.
- Alternatively, start a new project as a Distributor of the Survival Garden Kits.
- Source kit components such as seeds, seedlings, fetilizer, etc. from local businesses.
- Identify the women in the community who will be the recipients of the Survival Garden Kits.
- Coordinate the kit assembly and delivery with the Team Leader.
- Apply for a District Grant, if applicable.
