To empower 1000 women to independence and self-sufficiency
}FUNDRAISING US$200,000 … to purchase the 1000 Survival Garden Kit components, including hippo water roller, gardening tools, watering can, seeds and seedlings, compost, fertilizer, at Howto Grow Survival Garden Guide, soap, sanitizer and face mask. All components are sourced in South Africa. Each Survival Garden Kit is approximately US$200, depending on transport.
}DELIVERING 1000 SURVIVAL GARDEN KITS … to clusters of women in informal settlements in South Africa with at focus on Eastern Cape, KwaZulu/Natal and 1000 Hills.
}COLLABORATING WITH ROTARY CLUBS AND NON PROFITS … on both ends of project to:
1. FUNDRAISE US $200,000 – with at focus on Canada, USA, Australia and the U.K.
2. DELIVER 1000 SURVIVAL GARDEN KITS – the participating South African Rotary clubs and other non-profit organizations.
